What’s better than local ice cream? Touring an ice cream factory! Little Man Ice Cream offers tours (book online). There is a $10 cost, but it includes a scoop of ice cream!
Also located in Boulder, the Celestial Seasonings factory offers $5 tours of its full scale, in-house process--a rarity in tea production!
Tour the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder. Free tours are offered at noon on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Take a free tour of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Museum Monday -Saturday. Note: Tours of Victory Field at Mile High do have a cost.
Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City offers free walking tours weekdays from 9-6 p.m. Call ahead to reserve a spot.
